Focus on Australian Business Women Game Changers: Brittany Baldwin

Brittany Baldwin aspires to inspire before she expires.

When it comes to everything in life, Brittany embodies an attitude of success. There’s simply no stopping her. This woman on a mission strives to stimulate business leaders into action so that they too can fulfil their personal and professional goals.

Brittany’s childhood was dedicated to sporting achievements, including Australia’s youngest national equestrian champion and state representative for figure skating, all before the age of 8. Her determination for upskilling led Brittany to become an internationally recognised stunt performer who has worked on numerous film and television shows.

Brittany took the winning mentality into her adult years and applied these fundamental success skills to her approach to business. Hard work, dedication, education and a high level of passion are the core ingredients that all business leaders need to embody, and Brittany proved this with her rise and rise in the sales world.

Starting in an assistant role within the high-end retirement home sector, Brittany’s enthusiasm and commitment to advancement was quickly awarded with a promotion to sales manager within 6 months of starting with the company. Prior to this role, the closest Brittany had come to selling was a pair of shoes on eBay. With no sales experience, no industry knowledge and no idea how to manage a team, Brittany’s multi-million- dollar portfolio of property presented a new challenge.

By learning everything she could about sales, customer relationship building and consistently applying her newfound skills, Brittany and her team accomplished record sales. Within 2 years, she was twice more promoted to manage 5 retirement resorts and a team of 15 people.

Across this time, Brittany facilitated over $115 million in sales and received several accolades including a nomination for the coveted Women in Construction award. According to Brittany, however, her greatest triumph, was meeting and connecting with interesting people and handing them the keys to their forever homes.

By the end of 2018, Brittany had ticked off most of the traditional life achievements. She was living a life of happiness having married her childhood sweetheart, built two houses, completed her academic studies at university, enjoyed travelling the world for over a year and had forged a successful sales career.

In the space of 10 days, Brittany’s life turned upside down. She was unexpectedly made redundant and was diagnosed with cancer.

The saying goes ‘being challenged in life is inevitable but being defeated is optional’. Brittany saw this as a sign, an opportunity, a means to help others.

The result – Tick Tock Sales System was founded.

Brittany imagined business like a clock. The cogs need to turn and the hands need to tick, and they need to keep going around and around, consistently. If the business ticks and tocks, it will run like clockwork.

The same holds true when it comes to sales. Businesses need to get their sales ticking or eventually the clock will stop.

Tick Tock was established as a simple sales training tool for business leaders, sales professionals and sales teams. It’s a proven, repeatable pathway to secure more sales without spending more money.

The team at Tick Tock work closely with businesses to identify gaps in their current sales approach, then empower them with key systems and foundations to drive an immediate uplift in sales conversions.

Sales is about continuous learning. Not a day goes by where Brittany doesn’t discover something new, something that she can pass onto business leaders to accomplish in their respective industries.

Why does Brittany love sales? It’s simple – she believes in helping people see and achieve what they didn’t think was possible.
