As founder and CEO of Office Hub, Grant is transforming the role of the broker in a new age of commercial real estate – offering a service that is free and transparent, powered by world-first property technology and a forward-thinking approach to real estate.
In 2018, Grant invented and developed the world’s first digital property bidding platform. Abacus is an intelligent workspace comparison and bidding tool that connects tenants and coworking operators and allows them to negotiate and agree terms on coworking spaces online. It launched in 2019 to widespread acclaim and uptake among the world’s biggest flexi workspace firms.
Grant is originally from Melbourne and a qualified accountant by trade. After establishing and running several small businesses, he launched Office Hub in Sydney in 2013. He set up the company at home and today Office Hub is established as the No.1 marketplace and broker for flexi workspaces in Australia and New Zealand, operating at a success rate of more than double the industry average.
Global expansion is on the horizon for Office Hub and Grant has already masterminded entry into Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines in 2018. By the end of 2020, he will have launched the service in Indonesia, Vietnam, India and China, entered a Series A Round venture capital funding to begin a global rollout in Europe, the US and the Middle East, and operate in 100+ countries for more than 100,000 properties.
As a person, Grant is incredibly tenacious, passionate and energetic.
