Nominee’s three achievements

1. She donated £1000-worth of her publishing services to create a book of short stories featuring 22 female authors to make a positive difference in a troubling time: to provide a means of distraction by encouraging writing fiction, followed by providing pockets of escapism for the readers. The book project idea was conceived on 1st April and released 10th May. The eBook reached #1 in the Amazon ‘hot new releases’ and the paperback reached top 10 in three categories and is continuing to do well. The feedback from the authors was overwhelmingly positive and the book reviews have all been 5*. The book has been featured in local newspapers and BBC Radio stations and continues to receive great feedback.

2. She has helped many others become #1 bestselling authors (e.g. The ‘Mumpreneur on Fire’ series by Mums in Business Association, ‘The Elevation of the Femalepreneur’ by The Femalepreneur Academy, and ‘Staying on Track’ by LaVolta Events Ltd.)

3. She is managing to successfully run her business whilst having two children under 4 at home full time due to the current crisis (her husband is a keyworker and so unable to help with the childcare).
