Gina Lednyak was born in Belarus, raised in NYC, and is now a Sydney-side entrepreneur. Since being in the original Facebook test group, Gina has been at the forefront of social media strategy and is now the Founder and CEO of L&A Social Media. Being a two-time immigrant, Gina understood the need for connection and community, looking for ways to amplify these two things through the work that she does. She has built her career and business on these principles, always striving to forge stronger bonds in both the local and global community.
L&A Social has a strong focus on creative content execution and consumer behaviour. Along with this, they have a mission and a passion for making the world a better place. With a belief in long-term, positive relationships, Gina and the team at L&A develop those deep connections with clients and, in turn, help their clients develop the same in their own community. They work with 60+ brands across various industries, aiming to make these brands the envy of their industry. By being ahead of trends and having a strong pull to never stop learning, they push their clients’ strategy forward in new and innovative ways.
L&A itself has also grown to be a dynamic presence with over 8 years in the social media game. In 2016, Gina was awarded the 2016 NSW Telstra Young Business Woman Of The Year award, a huge accomplishment and moment of recognition both for herself and L&A Social. She has also been listed in the B&T 30 Under 30 and was a winner in the AIMI Future Leaders Awards. L&A Social was listed as a finalist for the 2019 NSW Telstra Business Awards, a huge win that was the result of years of building a strong business and team. The company was also a finalist at the 2019 Sydney City Regional Business Awards.
Gina is an active member of Entrepreneur’s Organisation as the Events Chair. She has done many speaking engagements over her career as a thought leader and moderator, lending her expertise and voice in the business and digital marketing world. Gina has an adventurous and dynamic presence. She is an ocean lover and a keen advocate of women in business. She believes that her knowledge and L&A’s success are to be shared with the purpose of creating a positive impact with everything she does!
